It's Sample Time! | Revolution Fabrics

It’s that time of year! In June and December, we have a fabric show to introduce our new line of Revolution Performance Fabrics.

Since May, it has been full on sampling time! Samples are a necessary part of doing business. Our customers need samples to be sent to them to evaluate the fabric. They have to compare them to our competition, correlate them, choose an application… it's like a beauty contest! It is like asking a store to send you wardrobe options: pants, ties, shoes, shirts, dresses and accessories! How awesome would that be to have tons options to choose from to build your wardrobe?! Our customers would debate the awesome part, because it can be overwhelming and confusing. Some even call the room where they open all of their boxes and do their selections the “war room”. They have walls where they pin up their selections and grouping and then they work and rework them.

Before they or you get your box of samples, a lot of work has been done! Fabric is planned, woven, cut, labelled, grouped together and finally shipped. This is putting it in very simple terms and making it sound easy… it definitely is not! We have an awesome team!
