Avant Garde is defined as new and unusual. As such, we questioned the status quo and pushed the boundaries of a typical stripe by introducing a raised 'chalk stripe' in an upholstery performance fabric. Avant Garde is best used indoors, but we have seen it used in a sun room. Typically these stripes have been flat and level all across the weave. With the raised texture, it adds a new dimension, look, and feel.
