      Washable designer fabric suitable for table linens and slipcovers

      "The Revolution Opulent Paisley fabric is the same fabric that you will pay up to $80/yard retail. It is well priced for a quality fabric that is washable. I bought 5 yards to make 4 slip covers for everyday use to protect our light colored breakfast room chairs. The chairs are upholstered with a Revolution fabric as well, but it is easier to remove the slip covers and wash them regularly than having to clean the upholstery. I designed the slip covers to be one piece without welt or seams to minimize the amount of construction. You may have heard that you cannot use an iron on polypropylene fabrics (because it will melt) but as long as you are careful to use a pressing cloth, you can absolutely apply steam and heat to flatten your seams. 5 yards of fabric was sufficient to make 4 slipcovers, 6 placemats and 6 cocktail coasters. I have also have 2 sofas upholstered in Revolution Haley Bone. They are 3 years old and still look new. Someone recently spilled tea on a cushion and it came clean following the instructions provided on the website."

      "This fabric is gorgeous and a nice weight. Not too heavy. It is going on the seats of 6 dark cherry dining room chairs. The rug is vintage style teal, with touches of navy, light blue and a little green. The fabric looks really lovely with the rug. I originally bought this fabric to upholster the seat of and English antique chair in the hallway. I liked it so much that I decided to use it on the 6 new-to-me dining chairs that were delivered last night. So I will be ordering more fabric for all the chairs in a few minutes. One comment re color. On my monitor this color read as an emerald green so I was a bit surprised when it turned out to be teal. But it is absolutely beautiful and works well with my color palette."
