Recap of June 2016 Showtime

We were so excited to introduce our new Revolution Performance Fabrics® jacquards at Showtime! We were not disappointed... We got a great reaction and reviews. The ability to make jacquard fabrics in Revolution changes everything! You can make intricate woven designs on a jacquard loom creating an awesome compliment to our textures and plains. Here are some of our introductions. They are inspired by shibori effects and hand woven designs in the traditional deep indigo color. This is exciting!!

At Showtime, we had a visual of the components of olefin yarn, and our fabric in a bleach solution.

We were able to describe more easily how the Olefin pellets are melted down into a liquid and forced through a spinneret  to form a micro denier fiber. Also, explaining how the color is added to the liquid creating solution dyed fiber. The color is in the fiber like the orange in a carrot not just sitting on the outside like a yarn dyed yarn or radish.
